Hey guys! Sharing a quick and easy cocktail recipe with you all today.
I hope everyone had a good weekend! I’ve been telling myself to think spring these past few weeks, but it was especially hard doing so on Saturday as we got hit with ANOTHER snow fall..ugh. A week of straight sunshine and just like that, eight inches of snow! You’d think I’d be used to it by now living in Michigan my whole life, but unfortunately it never gets easier. ????
If there is anything that makes these snowy weekends a little easier, it’s a good fruity cocktail with friends and family that reminds us spring is just around the corner. This drink has six simple ingredients – gin, a grapefruit (optional) grapefruit juice, LaCroix, sugar and mint leaves.
I will say that I’m typically not a fan of gin, but the grapefruit juice and mint tone down that pine tree taste gin has. I used grapefruit LaCroix but I think any type of fruity flavor would work. If you love gin and everything about that pine tree taste, you can totally make this cocktail without the juice and just use the flavored LaCroix, too!
That’s all for now. Cheers to spring! I hope you enjoy this one. 🙂
